Wuxi Liyang Laser Technology Co., Ltd. (“Liyang Laser”) has recently completed the final quality inspection and loading of 2 units of customized 7-axis cantilever intelligent welding robots and 2 units of ground rail-type intelligent welding robots for Gansu Pujin Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd. The equipment has been officially dispatched from Liyang Laser’s production base to the customer’s site in Gansu. This bulk delivery marks a key milestone in the deepening intelligent manufacturing cooperation between the two parties, and also represents a new breakthrough in the application of Liyang Laser’s intelligent welding solutions in the Northwest China steel structure industry.
The delivered equipment is a customized solution developed by Liyang Laser to address the high-load, large-span, multi-condition welding demands of the steel structure sector. The 7-axis cantilever intelligent welding robot, equipped with a multi-degree-of-freedom flexible arm, enables multi-angle, dead-angle-free welding of complex joints and large components. The ground rail-type intelligent welding robot features an enclosed ground rail design, supports dual-machine collaborative operation on the same rail, and offers three core advantages: no programming required, no teaching required, no graphic import required. This significantly lowers the manual operation threshold while boosting production efficiency and welding consistency. All equipment adopts mature industrial-grade configurations, compatible with typical steel structure welding processes such as T-joints and box-type beam-column members. With stable weld formation quality, it effectively solves the industry pain points of traditional manual welding—low efficiency, inconsistent quality, and recruitment challenges—providing a strong boost to Pujin Heavy Industry’s production capacity expansion and quality improvement.
